Pizza Seasoning
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried tomato powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, toasted and crushed with a mortar and pestle
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3/4 teaspoon hot Calabrian chile powder or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix all of the spices together. Store leftover seasoning in a small jar with a tight-fitting lid for up to 24 hours with the parmesean. You could add this to the popcorn separately and retain the pizza seasoning up to 3 months.
- TIP If you can’t find Calabrian hot chili powder, double the red pepper flakes. If you aren’t able to source tomato powder, omit. To make this vegan, forgo the butter, ghee and parmesean.
